Works by Viktor Petrov, Dimitar Solakov, Kalin Serapionov, Pravdoliub Ivanov, Rudi Ninov, Samuil Stoyanov, and Sophia Grancharova will be presented in the Dog Days exhibition at the Structura Gallery in Sofia. The exhibition was curated by Marina Slavova. The exhibition can be viewed from June 6 to July 31, the organizers said on Friday.

"The Dog Days exhibition aims to explore the cognitive connections and interactions between language and image, between naming and the named, to provoke deeper reflection on how words shape our perceptions," the team says. They note that seven artists have been invited to respond to these pressing questions and create new works specifically for the Structura Gallery spaces.

"Each work in the exhibition aims to challenge the viewer to consider the limitations and possibilities of language. It is an invitation to reflect on the power of words, the complex interrelationships between language and image, and the ways in which language shapes and distorts our reality. By exposing the multi-layered nature of words and their meanings, the exhibition encourages visitors to critically analyze the role of language in shaping public opinion and creating ideological rifts in the contemporary world," the release says.
