Artist Vezhdi Rashidov will present an exhibition of watercolours at his gallery. The exhibition will open on May 22, the organizers said.

Although he is mostly known as a sculptor, Rashidov is increasingly showing his watercolour works. Last year, he presented the Game exhibition, which included 20 watercolors and four sculptures.

Vezhdi Rashidov was born on December 14, 1951 in Dimitrovgrad. He graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Art Sofia, where he later taught as an established artist. In 1985 he went to France after a competition Cité des Arts in Paris. He participated in group, thematic and solo exhibitions in all major cities in Bulgaria, in most European countries and world cultural centers. Rashidov has shown his works in more than 45 solo exhibitions and has won a number of prestigious awards.
