An exhibition of oil, watercolour, pastel and small sculpture from the collection of LIK Gallery is on display in its space until June 11, the organizers say.
The LIK Gallery opened its doors on May 17, 2004. Since then, it has presented both established artists and new and talented young ones who will have a future in the development of Bulgarian art and culture.
LIK works with foreign galleries and artists, and organizes book premieres, lectures, meetings and discussions on contemporary art, culture and architecture; it also presents multimedia projects and alternative forms of contemporary visual arts, the release says.
The exhibition includes watercolours by Ivan Manoylov, Nikola Angelakov, Ivan Dodov, Alexander Telalim, Veneta Docheva, Atanaska Yaneva, Heidi Efrat.
Oil works by Ivan Manoylov, Kliment Atanasov, Sasho Kostov, Nenko Chanev can also be viewed.
LIK Gallery is also dedicating space for paintings brought from Ethiopia, Cuba, Peru, India, Argentina, Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil, and Tibet.
