Scandinavian singer Eivør Pálsdóttir, commonly known as EIVØR, will perform a concert at the Ancient Theatre in Plovidiv on June 14, the organizers of the event said.

EIVØR has ten studio albums, as well as numerous musical collaborations. She has won every Scandinavian music award, her music has been streamed over 1 billion times and she had tours sold out in Scandinavia, Europe and the US. EIVØR worked on several soundtracks, including those of Netflix series "The Last Kingdom" and video game "God of War".

EIVØR was born and raised in the northern Faroe Islands. Her music is inspired by the rushing winds, lights, auroras, and the harsh landscape of the North Atlantic. The singer is part of a new wave of Scandinavian artists who are quickly gaining fans worldwide, creating music that honours ancient cultural and musical Scandinavian folklore.

The concert is part of Plovdiv’s cultural calendar for 2024.
