site.btaSilvia Azdreeva to Present her Book "Conquering Yourself" in Sofia

Bulgarian mountaineer Silvia Azdreeva will talk about her journey to the top on January 17 at Sofia Live Club. The event is on the occasion of the Sofia premiere of the book Conquering Yourself, which Azdreeva wrote in co-authorship with journalist Nayden Todorov, publisher Ciela announced.

In July, 2023, Azdreeva became the first Bulgarian woman to climb three 8K peaks. She also became the first Bulgarian to climb Everest and Lhotse in succession, the first Bulgarian to climb K2, and the first Bulgarian to climb the fourth highest peak, Lhotse.

"You have achieved a lot. But you know - you can always do more! Do you remember what I told you when you climbed Everest? Yes, you stepped on the Roof of the World, but there is still a lot to learn," reads part of the foreword of the book written by mountaineer Nirmal Purja.
