Actor Assen Kukushev will read an excerpt from "Infinity in a Reed" by Irene Vallejo in the framework of the 12th edition of "Night of Literature". The event will take place on September 27 and the work of the Spanish author will be presented in the space at 15 Krakra street in Sofia, the Cervantes Institute reports.
The book was translated into Bulgarian by Desislava Antova and Zahari Omainikov, and published this spring by "Colibri".
A few days later, the Cervantes Institute will also participate in the celebration of the European Day of Languages. It is organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria on September 30 to coincide with International Translation Day. The event will take place on the square in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. Another 13 cultural institutions have confirmed their participation.
