"Media freedom is very important for news agencies which are part of a free media world. Bulgaria has made progress, which is fantastic. We would like to see this continue and lead to further improvements. BTA is an integral part of the Bulgarian media landscape and takes the lead in keeping up these tendencies," Peter Kropsch, Head of Euro Newsroom and CEO of dpa (Germany), said in a BTA interview here on Thursday.
