Japan Choral Association's Youth Choir to Feature Bulgarian Conductor

Bulgarian musician Teodora Pavlovich will conduct the twelfth concert of the Youth Choir of the Japan Choral Association, reported the Bulgarian Embassy in Japan on their Facebook page. The programme includes works from the Slavonic Church and Bulgarian folk music. The event will take place on March 4 in the city of Himeji at 2 pm local time.

Teodora Pavlovich is the head of the Conducting and Composition Department at the Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy in Sofia. She is the winner of a number of awards, including by the International Federation for Choral Music and the Ministry of Culture. Pavlovich also leads international master classes and is a member of the jury of a number of international competitions. She has participated in over 300 concerts with the Vasil Arnaudov Sofia Chamber Choir in Bulgaria, as well as  in concerts in various countries. She is a member of the World Choir Council and has been included in the international publication "Who's Who in Choral Music".
