A festival of the Bulgarian folk costume has been held in San Diego, California, the Bulgarian General Consulate in Los Angeles said. The event was hosted by the St George Serbian Orthodox Church in the city.  On the occasion of the start of the new school year in Bulgaria, Bulgarian General Consul Boiko Hristov donated books to the Bulgarian school in San Diego. Hristov also gave a thank you letter to Rev. Bratislav Bratso Krsic of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
