A cannabis greenhouse was discovered in the village of Suhodol, Sredets Municipality, the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry said on Monday.

The head of the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry, Vladimir Marinov, and the head of the Burgas Regional Prosecution Service, Georgi Chinev, will hold a briefing on the matter on Tuesday.

BTA reports that in January this year, authorities uncovered what was described as the largest indoor cannabis plantation in the last ten years in the Burgas Region, located at the Sveti Vlas resort. During the operation, three rooms in two neighboring buildings in the villa zone were searched. Nearly 400 cannabis plants at different stages of growth were found, along with modern irrigation systems, ventilation, heaters, reflectors, fertilizers, and equipment for controlling temperature and humidity.
