site.btaMRF – New Beginning Leader Peevski to Appeal against Allegations by European Prosecutor Georgieva

Leader of MRF – New Beginning Delyan Peevski will appeal before the prosecution service against the allegations of European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva accusing him of a crime. He announced this to journalists in Parliament on Thursday when asked to comment on Georgieva's allegations that he had pressured the contractors on the expansion of the Chiren gas storage facility, which was investigated by the EPPO. She added that she felt threatened by him. 

Peevski pointed out that this was "the personal commissioned prosecutor of [Continue the Change Co-Chair] Kiril Petkov, with whom they lived together in their office".

The MRF leader said he had nothing to do with this case. "She will have to explain how she framed me and will have to face the consequences for the lies she made up… I will report her to the authorities," Peevski said.
