Bulgarian mountains on Sunday are offering good conditions for winter tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service with the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA on Sunday morning. Partly cloudy with temperatures ranging between minus 10 to minus 5C.

The snow cover in the high parts of the mountains is thick, ranging between 100 and 140 cm. Mountain rescuers advise people to use only winter routes. Avalanche danger is high.

The weather will be mostly sunny, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Mild to moderate west-northwesterly wind, occasionally strong wind at the highest parts. Highs: 4C at 1,200 m, minus 2C at 2,000 m.
