Speaking to journalists here on Friday, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov expressed his dissatisfaction with what he sees as evident dependencies revealed by the choice of National Assembly chair. Speaking of the election of Nataliya Kiselova from the BSP-United Left, Kostadinov said: "I think, once again, all dependencies have become clear. Personally, I am disgusted by what I saw."

"The big anti-communists from Democratic Bulgaria (DB) voted alongside BSP, those from Continue the Change (CC), who fought against GERB, ended up supporting BSP's candidate together with GERB, and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (ARF), who claimed they would not support a candidate with GERB, all voted together," he continued. "In reality, we see a repetition of the patchwork coalition between GERB, MRF-Dogan [he was referring to Alliance for Rights and Freedoms], CC-DB, and now BSP".

Kostadinov mentioned that while forming a regular government is possible if this majority remains, it would not be beneficial for the country.

"In this situation, if BSP goes to elections now, I don't see how they will make it into Parliament or what they will say to their voters," Kostadinov said.

He noted that while elections under the current Election Code aren't perfect, they are preferable to reverting to the previous status quo.
