December 7: Overcast, windy weather. Snowfall in the northwest and the mountains, possible blizzards in passes. Rainfall in the central and eastern parts, heavy in the south. Moderate northwesterly wind along the Danube and in the west, strong southerly wind in the east. Lows: 2C to 7C, around 2C in Sofia. Highs: 10C to 12C, around 4C in Sofia.

The Black Sea coast: overcast with rain. Moderate to strong southeasterly wind. Highs: 12C to 13C.  

The mountains: Overcast, windy with snowfall in the eastern Rhodopes, rain in the Strandzha and Sakar. Heavy rain in the central Balkan and the southern slopes of the Rhodopes. Strong southwesterly wind. Highs: around 3C at 1,200 m, minus 1C at 2,000 m.  

December 8: Mostly overcast. Isolated rain before noon in the east, to spread over most of the country by Monday. Light to moderate southwesterly wind. Lows: minus 2C to 8C. Lows: 6C to 14C.
