site.btaCC-DB MP Candidates Meet with Employer Organizations in Sofia

Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) top-of-the-list candidate in Sofia's 24th constituency Nadezhda Yordanova and other party MP candidates participated in a meeting with the four nationally representative employers' organizations on Thursday.

At the meeting it was pointed out that CC-DB does not envisage changes in the tax system and that in order for the second payment under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) to become a reality, three laws must be adopted urgently. 

These are the law on personal bankruptcy, the law which regulates the appointment of the counter-corruption committee members, as well as changes to the whistleblower protection law, so it also applies to whistleblower reports submitted before 2021.

The party's press centre noted that the employers' organizations supported the need for quick adoption of the laws in order to start the payments under the NRRP, which will have a great effect on the economy.

The issues of stabilization of the energy sector, continuation of compensations for electricity for businesses and the liberalization of the electricity market, as well as the maximum insurance income and support for Bulgarian business were also discussed during the meeting.
