site.btaCabinet Approves Draft International Agreement in Defence

The Council of Ministers Tuesday approved a report by the Defence Minister on a draft international agreement (Letter of Offer and Acceptance - LOA) BU-P-LBI on Procurement of Communications Security Equipment under the US Foreign Military Sales Programme, and decided to authorize an official to conduct negotiations and sign the contract subject to subsequent ratification by the National Assembly.

The draft of the international agreement was prepared in connection with the implementation of a project for the Ministry of Defence for investment expenditure in the acquisition of a multifunctional modular patrol ship for the Navy.
