GERB-UDF's top-of-the-list candidate in Vidin, Rositsa Kirova, Thursday said: "It is a cause for my hometown to have a strong educational institution that prepares specialists and young people who will stay here, fulfil their potential, work and receive a decent salary." She attended a graduation ceremony of the Vidin branch of Ruse University.

Kirova, who received the university's highest award in 2022 for her contribution to the development and strengthening of the local branch, noted that she is proud to be a small part of its struggle to exist, to reaffirm itself, to have its own modern building and open new specialties. 

Kirova wished the 69 students graduating from the branch of the university in 2024 to be demanding of their political representatives and of the promises they receive.

Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil attended the ceremony.
