site.btaCC-DB's Leading Candidate in Silistra Petkov Confers with Pensioners in Village of Babuk

On the occasion of October 1, International Day of Older Persons, Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) top-of-the-list candidate in Silistra Bogomil Petkov visited the village of Babuk, where he conferred with local residents at the pensioners' club, the coalition told BTA here Tuesday.

Nowadays, the elderly serve as an example and provide support for the young, Petkov said, quoted by the coalition. He gave the club a young sapling to plant in the village.

Later, together with other MP candidates from the coalition's list, Bogomil Petkov took part in the ceremony marking the 84th anniversary of the return of Southern Dobrudja to Bulgaria. They laid wreaths and flowers at the monument of Tsar Boris III in the Danube Park.
