A van driver, who was transporting migrants, has died during a police chase near Burgas, Border Police Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov told journalists.
The incident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning when police officers signaled the driver to stop because he acted suspiciously on the road.
The van was transporting 15 Afghan nationals, said Zlatanov.
