The National Assembly held its last sitting on Friday before its summer recess between August 17 and 31.

At the end of Parliament's regular sitting on August 16, National Assembly Deputy Chair Jordan Tzonev, who oversaw the session, announced that the next regular sitting will be held at 9 a.m. on September 4.

Tzonev added that an extraordinary sitting will take place on August 20 for the next caretaker cabinet to take oath, if President Rumen Radev issues a decree for it.
