Yes, Bulgaria member Bozhidar Bozhanov said Monday he understands Continue the Change's (CC) concerns about the Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DSB) proposal to form a government established with the third mandate in the form of a "technical cabinet". "It does indeed seem unlikely, given the claims of the other parties, that such a majority would be possible," he told journalists. 

Yes, Bulgaria and DSB are part of the Democratic Bulgaria (DB) coalition and the Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) parliamentary group.

On Saturday, DSB issued a position on Saturday, proposing to their partners from CC-DB to discuss and adopt a mechanism for getting out of the current political crisis. "We believe that such an option is to ask for the third [government forming] mandate, which would be considered a 'national' mandate," DSB said.

Bozhanov explained that during the meeting of Yes, Bulgaria's national council the party will discuss whether such government is possible, will it be able to achieve its goals and what are the risks it will bring for the country. He added that if there is a majority that can dismantle the model of [one of the two Chairpersons of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms Delyan] Peevski, it should be discussed. "We are not assuming the parties that would participate or not, as far as we can see Bulgarian Socialist Party's request is for the widest possible support," Bozhanov added. The CC-DB MP was adamant that the door for negotiations in the second mandate is closed for his party.

He argued that such an eventual government would have a short life.

On Sunday, Continue the Change (CC) adopted a position during a forum, which states that the party does not see conditions for the formation of a pro-European, anti-corruption government within the current Parliament and is ready to be a constructive opposition.
