Stabilizing the fiscal model, normalizing public finances and mostly the priorities relating to the work of Parliament, including a clear legislative programme with deadlines that can unite a majority in the name of this country's priorities are among the commitments that GERB-UDF Prime Minister-designate Rosen Zhelyazkov declared Monday. He was speaking to the press after President Rumen Radev handed him a mandate to form a government and he immediately produced a proposal for a Cabinet composition and lineup.
Zhelyazkov underscored "the strong Euro-Atlantic orientation" of the government proposed by the biggest party in the new legislature.
If the President issues a decree to send the proposal to the legislature, on Wednesday GERB will "go to Parliament to get a vote of confidence or no-confidence", said Zhelyazkov.
Asked by the press whether he would ask to meet the other political forces in Parliament to seek support, he said, "The parties have already declared their positions."
