site.btaGovernment Delegation to Visit Zographou Monastery

A delegation, led by caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will make a pilgrimage to the Bulgarian Zographou Monastery in Mount Athos on May 10 and 11, the press service of the Council of Ministers said.

Glavchev will take part in the monastery’s evening and night services, in a holy liturgy, as well as in a liturgical procession with the icon of the Holy Martyr George - Zograf.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will have a meeting with the leadership of Mount Athos.

Caretaker ministers Galin Tzokov (Education and Science), Nayden Todorov (Culture), Evtim Miloshev (Tourism), Georgi Tahov (Agriculture and Food), as well as MPs will be part of the official delegation to Mount Athos.
