President Rumen Radev condemns the escalation of tension in the Middle East, the head of State's press secretariat reported Sunday. He is following with concern the development of the conflict there.

"All countries in the region should abstain from further use of force," the press release reads.

The head of State is in constant contact with the Bulgarian government and security services in light of guaranteeing the life and safety of Bulgarian citizens in the Middle East and, if necessary, their evacuation from the region.
