site.btaSocialists Declare 2024 Year of Disassembly of Government-backing Assemblage for Bulgaria's Good

Reading out a declaration on behalf of her parliamentary group, BSP for Bulgaria Floor Leader Korneliya Ninova said that they see 2024 as the year of disassembly of the assemblage [the parliamentary majority backing the Government] in the name of Bulgaria's good. The declaration was dedicated to the opening of Parliament's winter session on Thursday.

"We will keep going because we remain the only ones fighting the model of behind-the-scenes governance and the parallel state," Ninova said. She listed as absolute priorities for her parliamentary groups: stable economy, social policy and  justice, education, and healthcare.

In her words, the public space is filled only with talks about the rotation in the Government, which minister will be replaced by whom, how the regulating bodies will be elected. For six months now, the ruling majority has been dealing only with the distribution of power portions, finding posts, and scandals among themselves.

"You sent 2023 off with fanfare over Bulgaria being admitted in Schengen, and you welcome the new year with fanfare again today from the rostrum," Ninova commented.
