The Continue the Change (CC) party wrote on Facebook on Saturday that the line-up of the cabinet announced on Friday left no place for speculation that nominations could have come from anyone except those responsible for forming the cabinet. "We have always said we would talk with all the parliamentary groups about constitutional reform. This was the only purpose of Friday's meeting with the MPs of the Movement or Rights and Freedoms (MRF)," CC said.

"We talked while all the media were in Parliament and watched what was happening," the party said.

A comprehensive judicial reform and functioning institutions, regulators and security services, which will restore the public's confidence and justice, is one of the key goals of the regular cabinet and the majority in Parliament besides the adoption of a 2023 budget and entry in Schengen and the euro area, the party said. A majority of at least 160 MPs will be needed to revise the Constitution.

On Friday, CC-Democratic Bulgaria (DB) and GERB-UDF unveiled the government line-up proposed by Prime Minister designate Nikolay Denkov of CC-DB and Mariya Gabriel of GERB, who will each be prime minister for nine months. Earlier in the day, the two biggest parliamentary forces talked with the MRF.
