An office of the Balkan Bridge Association for Culture, Education and Tradition was opened in Bitola in the presence of Bulgarian Ambassador to North Macedonia Zhelyazko Radukov, Bulgarian Consul General in Bitola Nikolay Dimitrov, diplomats and representatives of the Bulgarian community in North Macedonia.

"With the opening of the office of the association we will have a place where our fellow citizens can come and inform themselves about the association itself, but also about the culture, traditions and education system in Bulgaria. Because only by learning about each other will we begin to respect each other more and remove the negative influences and prejudices of the past. And this will bring all of us progress and prosperity on the way to what we aspire to - to become part of the European family", said Association President Ljupcho Joshevski.

The Balkan Bridge Association has been actively working for two years and has already implemented initiatives, including a two-day tournament between children's tennis clubs from Bitola and Petrich, children's Christmas and New Year workshops, and together with the Unirose Association for Protection of Women's Rights donated over 200 packages to several public institutions for children without parents and those with special needs in Bitola for New Year.
