Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania, Greece, Serbia, North Macedonia and Turkiye on Tuesday morning, Border Police said.
Until 7 January, a temporary traffic organization will be in place on the Danube Bridge at Ruse - Giurgiu, with traffic in both lanes. In addition to the border crossing point Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainarja or Krusari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm every day and no goods vehicles are allowed through them.
The Romanian-flagged ferry vessel Europa has stopped sailing to and from Romania since December 28 due to a breakdown.
Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad crossing points with Greece.
Temporarily, the passage through the checkpoint Malko Tarnovo on the border with Turkiye will be carried out along a single lane due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint.
