Trucks traffic is intense at some of the border crossing checkpoints with Romania, Serbia and Turkiye on Friday morning, Border Police said.

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy at Kardam at the exit for trucks. Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, vehicles temporarily pass through one lane regulated by traffic lights. In addition to Ruse, drivers can also head to the checkpoints Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two have working hours from 8 am to 8 pm every day and no trucks are allowed through them.

On the border with Greece, traffic is heavy at the exit for goods vehicles at Kulata. Only cars and vans are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Turkiye, traffic is very heavy at the checkpoint Kapitan Andreevo at the exit for trucks. Temporarily, the crossing of Malko Tarnovo will be carried out on one route due to the reconstruction of the checkpoint.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

On the border with North Macedonia, traffic is also normal at all border crossing points.
