Only passenger cars and vans are allowed through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad checkpoints.
Traffic at the border crossings with Serbia is heavy for passenger cars at the Kalotina checkpoint.

At a meeting at the Ministry of Transport on Thursday, representatives of a dozen institutions discussed measures to ease heavy traffic.
