Traffic for trucks is heavy at some of the border crossings with Romania, Greece and Turkiye, the General Directorate of Border Police said on its website on Friday.

Traffic is heavy on the border with Romania at the Vidin, Oryahovo and Nikopol border crossing points (BCPs) for trucks at the exit. 

On the border with Greece, traffic is heavy at the Kulata BCP at the exit for cars. Only cars and vans can pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad BCPs.

Traffic is heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo BCP for trucks on the border with Turkiye.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points on the border with Serbia. Construction works at the Kalotina BCP require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic. During the holidays, those travelling by cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend crossing times.

At the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all BCPs.
