Romania’s Violoncellissimo ensemble will give a concert in Ruse on Thursday evening. The event is part of the March Music Days international festival, its director Iva Chavdarova said. The ensemble will present their project "From Baroque…to Rock".
Chavdarova described Violoncellissimo as one of the most famous Romanian ensembles, created at the initiative of violoncello player Prof Marin Kazacu. He invited his current and former students on a mission to find new paths to popularizing music.
March Music Days is on in Ruse until April 2. The festival includes 27 events, seven orchestral and 11 ensemble programmes, two opera performances, and a choral concert. March Music Days is organized by the Municipality of Ruse with the support of the Ministry of Culture, and BTA is one of its main media partners.
