Hristian Pendikov will be accommodated in a flat which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide to him, Minister Nikolay Milkov told a news conference on Tuesday.

Pendikov, Secretary of the King Boris III Bulgarian Cultural Club in Ohrid, was discharged from the Military Medical Academy on February 6.

Pendikov was assaulted on January 19, 2023 in Ohrid. On January 20 he was transported from the Republic of North Macedonia to Bulgaria on a Bulgarian government Falcon aircraft and admitted for treatment at Sofia's Military Medical Academy. He was diagnosed with multiple injuries on the face and the torso, including polyfragmented fracture in the lower jaw.
