The condition of the patient Hristian Pendikov is improving, he has been discharged from intensive care, the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Sofia told BTA on Thursday. Pendikov has been admitted to the Department of Oral Surgery.

Hristian Pendikov, secretary of the Bulgarian King Boris III Cultural Club, was beaten on January 19 in Ohrid, Republic of North Macedonia. The patient was transported to Bulgaria and admitted for treatment at the MMA, where he had surgery on his broken jaw.
