site.btaSerbian Defence Ministry Delegation Arrives on Two-Day Working Visit to Bulgaria

A delegation from the Serbian Defence Ministry, headed by Acting Assistant Minister for Budget and Finance Goran Momcilovic, arrived on a two-day working visit to Bulgaria on Tuesday, the Bulgarian Defence Ministry reported. The purpose of the visit is to continue cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of defence resource management, to improve the system for the use of financial resources, and to enhance defence financing.

Deputy Defence Minister Radostin Iliev opened the meeting with the Serbian delegation and noted that Bulgaria supports Serbia’s European integration and its participation in NATO's Partnership for Peace programme.

“We attach great importance to the intensive cooperation in the field of defence between Bulgaria and Serbia. I hope that we will continue to deepen our friendly relations based on open dialogue and productive neighbourly contacts,” Iliev said.
