Sofia, August 15 (BTA) - Bulgarian National Assembly Deputy
Chairman and Volya Party leader Vesselin Mareshki has offered
condolences to the families bereaved by Tuesday's tragic
incident on the Ponte Morandi near Genoa, Volya said in a press
release on Wednesday.

The motorway bridge collapsed on Tuesday, killing 37 people and
seriously injuring many others.

In letters to Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Deputy
Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, Mareshki wished strength and
courage to all institutions and volunteers responding to the
effects of that tragedy and speedy recovery of those injured.

Salvini is leader of the Northern League Party, which is a
partner of Volya in the patriotic Movement for a Europe of
Nations and Freedom. SN/LG
