site.btaProject Digitizes 12 Wine and Culinary Destinations

March 21 (BTA) - Twelve wine and culinary destinations have been digitized and made accessible at the website of the Tourism Ministry, the Ministry said on Thursday.

They have been developed under a project, 'Share about Bulgaria', which is being implemented by the Tourism Ministry and the Agriculture Ministry. An interactive map provides information about tourist attractions and about dishes and wines that are traditional for the region.

In addition to the interactive map the project is included in the iLoveBulgaria Platform. It allows information to be shared between users of Viber.

The twelve wine and culinary destinations have been selected to match the number of the months in a year. They span 55 municipalities across the country, nearly 120 tourist attractions, 80 dishes and 12 wines traditional for the regions.

The Ministry expects that the project will establish Bulgaria as a year-round destination.
