April 30 (BTA) - In April 2019 the total business climate
 indicator rose by 1.9 percentage points compared to March, the
National Statistical Institute said on Tuesday. An improvement
of business conjuncture was registered in industry, construction
 and the service sector, while in retail trade it remained at
approximately the same level.

The composite indicator 'business climate in industry' 
increased by 2.0 percentage points as a result of more
optimistic industrial entrepreneur expectations about the
business situation of the enterprises over the next six months.

The composite indicator 'business climate in construction' rose
by 1.3 percentage points due to the improved construction
entrepreneur assessment of the present situation of enterprises.
 Forecasts for construction activity in the next three months
also remain favourable, although more reserved than in March.

Business climate in retail trade remains at approximately its
March level.

Business climate in services went up by 3.4 percentage points as
 a result of improved manager assessment of the present business
 situation of the enterprises. Their opinion of the present and
expected demand for services was also more optimistic. RY/BR
