To Be Able to Vote in EU Parliament Elections
in 21 German Cities

Berlin, May 4 (BTA) - For the first time ever Bulgarian citizens in Germany will be able to vote in 13 additional polling stations during the elections for Bulgarian representatives in the European Parliament on May 26, said the Foreign Ministry's press center. The polling stations will be in the cities of Aachen, Bremen, Dortmund, Dresden, Erfurt, Freiburg, Hanover, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Constance, Leipzig, Nuremberg and Regensburg and will be open for voting between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm on May 26.

The German federal authorities respected Bulgaria's wishes
for additional sections beyond those in the three Bulgarian diplomatic and consular sites in Germany and the five offices of Honorary Consuls.

Any Bulgarian citizen who has a current address in Germany may vote in the 21 cities listed, provided he has not exercised his or her right to vote on the same day in Bulgaria, the Foreign Ministry said. LY/DT
