The Executive Committee of GERB instructed the party’s negotiation team to continue talks with BSP-United Left and There Is Such a People (TISP) to form a regular government, the press office of the GERB-UDF coalition said on Wednesday.

The Executive Committee confirms the nomination of Rosen Zhelyazkov as a candidate for prime minister with the first mandate of GERB-UDF. Zhelyazkov is also authorized to lead the work of the negotiation team.

In addition, the negotiation team is to hold talks to support a cabinet and the formation of a ruling majority, which will then proceed to consider and vote on the amendments to the Election Code and the Judicial System Act.

Zhelyazkov and the negotiation team are instructed to resume talks with Democratic Bulgaria if they are ready to support a regular government with Rosen Zhelyazkov as prime minister, the message said.
