Traffic is intense at some border crossing checkpoints with Romania, Serbia and Turkiye on Monday morning, Border Police said.

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy at checkpoint Kardam at the exit for trucks. 

Due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge at Ruse, a temporary traffic organisation has been introduced, vehicles pass through one lane regulated by traffic lights. In addition to Ruse, drivers in the region can also head to Silistra, Kardam, Durankulak, Kainardzha and Krushari. The last two are open from 8 am to 8 pm every day and no trucks are allowed through them. 

On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. Only cars and vans are allowed to pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is heavy at Kalotina at the exit for trucks. 

On the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

On the border with Turkiye, traffic is heavy at Kapitan Andreevo and at Lesovo at the exit for goods vehicles.
