site.btaPresident Radev Expresses Condolences to Bosnia and Herzegovina for Flood Victims

President Rumen Radev expressed sincere condolences for the lives lost during the devastating floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina in a post on the social network "X".

"We stand ready to provide necessary support in the face of this natural disaster," the Bulgarian head of State further wrote. 

A strong storm hit Bosnia and Herzegovina Friday, claiming at least 14 lives and flooding several towns and villages in the central and southern parts of the country. Rescue services in the south of the country also reported several people missing and appealed for volunteers and the army to help as roads were closed and houses were left without electricity. 

On Friday, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry also expressed its condolences to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the victims of the floods in the central and southern regions of the country.
