Former world champion Antoaneta Stefanova has won the 7th World Chess Festival Open Summer Cup on the Greek island of Rhodes.

The Bulgarian took first place with 7 points after recording five wins and four draws in the nine competitive rounds and not allowing a single loss. She won the tournament after a 3-way tiebreak with grandmasters Grzegorz Nasuta from Poland and Vasilis Kotronias from Greece.

The competition, which took place between June 21 and July 1, brought together 45 chess players of all ages.
