site.btaProf. Nedelchev: We Have Yet to Discover New Depths to Atanas Dalchev's Poetry
''I am convinced that we have yet to discover new depths to Atanas Dalchev's poetry,' said Prof. Mihail Nedelchev, who is among the authors of a LIK issue, dedicated to the prominent Bulgarian poet. On Thursday, the issue was officially presented via videoconference at the BTA press clubs in the country and abroad.
''Atanas Dalchev actually makes us dream to this day. He makes us give flight to our imagination. He is not just an ordinary poet, even though he writes so much about everyday life. His Paris is not like the Paris of other writers. It is a Paris with backyards, a black, dark Paris with hardly any light, smoky but at the same time wonderful, and with a wonderful little poetic miniature about a man, or the lyrical hero, who had neither a mistress nor a friend in this city, and took his hat off only to the winds,'' Mihail Nedelchev said.
BTA's LIK magazine dedicated an issue to poet Atanas Dalchev (1904-1978), whose 120th birth anniversary was celebrated on June 12 this year.
