site.btaFire Breaks Out on Sofia-Burgas Train, No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out in the locomotive of a fast train travelling from Sofia to Burgas. The incident occurred near the Vladimir Pavlov goods station in Burgas around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the Interior Ministry's Regional Directorate in Burgas said in a press release. 

Two fire engines and six firefighters were dispatched to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Railroad workers told BTA that the passengers have been evacuated and no one got injured.
