The Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin reported on Tuesday that Blaga Dimitrova features among the personalities showcased at the Frauen Europas (Women of Europe) exhibition in Berlin. The display highlights female visionaries from European Union member states and was inaugurated to coincide with the European Parliament elections.
Kunstwelt e.V. Berlin, in collaboration with the embassies of European Union member states, is showcasing 27 significant and remarkable women. Representing Bulgaria is Blaga Dimitrova, a distinguished writer, poet, translator, and the former Vice President of Bulgaria. This initiative highlights the contributions of these influential women across various fields.
At the opening ceremony, Kameliya Porozhanova, the spouse of the Bulgarian Ambassador to Germany Grigor Porozhanov, was present along with representatives from the Bulgarian Cultural Institute. The event also saw the participation of Barbara Gessler, the Head of the European Commission Representation in Germany.
Barbara Gessler expressed enthusiasm about the new exhibition that focuses on women's perspectives and acknowledges their significant contributions to European history.
The exhibition is open for viewing until June 30 in the pedestrian area of Friedrichstrasse in Berlin.
