site.btaBulgaria's Tihomir Ivanov Qualifies for European Championships High Jump Finals

Bulgarian athlete Tihomir Ivanov Sunday qualified for the men's high jump finals at the European Athletics Championships in Rome. The 29-year-old Bulgarian overcame the 2.21 m after three successful attempts in the qualifications, starting from 2.12 m.

A total of 13 athletes overcame the 2.21 m and continue in the fight for the medals.

This is Ivanov's fourth time in the finals of an outdoor continental championship. His best ranking is fifth place in Amsterdam in 2016.

The men's high jump finals will take place late on June 11.
