site.btaVazrazhdane Leader Kostadinov Visits Alfatar Municipality Triggered by Allegations against Local Mayor

Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov and party members visited the municipality of Alfatar in Silistra Region, Vazrazhdane said in a press release on Friday.

The Vazrazhdane representatives initiated a meeting with Alfatar Mayor Yanka Gospodinova, provoked by allegations that Gospodinova sends “friendly messages” to Vazrazhdane MP candidate Greta Dankova, who had also been mayoral candidate in Alfatar in the past.

Kostadinov voiced his suspicions that Gospodinova has turned the municipality into a feudal fortress of hers, where everything is decided by her alone. In his words, these suspicions are supported by numerous alerts by citizens, including alerts by the new mayor of the village of Bistra, who complained of political discrimination.

Vazrazhdane are outraged that they have not found Gospodinova at her workplace.
