site.btaBulgaria Records Third Coronavirus Death, Confirmed Cases Rise to 94

Sofia, March 19 (BTA) - An 80-year old woman, admitted to
Pirogov emergency hospital with a stroke and a coronavirus
infection, has died, making her the third victim of the outbreak
 in Bulgaria, 

Confirmed coronavirus cases have reached 94, Major General Prof.
 Ventsislav Moutafchiiski, who chairs the national coronavirus
task force, told a regular briefing on Thursday morning.

The outbreak has spread to another four regional capitals:
Smolyan, Veliko Tarnovo, Pernik and Bourgas.

Moutafchiiski said that the Bulgarian embassy in Skopje had
informed the task force about two citizens of North Macedonia
who tested positive after they returned from a break in the
Bansko ski resort. RY/PP
