Odesa Province in the south of Ukraine came under missile attack from Russia on Saturday, Governor Oleh Kiper said.
A man and two women were reported wounded in the attack. The women were taken to hospital, Kiper said. He added that civilian infrastructure was damaged.
An air raid alert was in place in Odesa Province between 2:55 p.m. and 3:41 p.m. local (and Bulgarian) time on Saturday.
There are over 150,000 Bulgarians in Odesa Province, including between 50,000 and 60,000 in the regional capital Odesa. The largest compact groups of Bulgarians outside the city of Odesa are in the towns of Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
